Nerf Storage Ideas for Kids Rooms
Finding a practical storage solution for Nerfs can be difficult since they are big, bulky and take up so much space.
If you have boys, you know that these things multiply like crazy. You are buying them almost every time you go to the store. Everyone buys them for your kids are birthday and Christmas gifts.
And it seems like Nerf is always coming out with something new that my kids just have to have!
I’m not gonna lie – I get so annoyed with how they don’t fit into toy boxes and if they do they take up the entire thing so there is no room for other toys.
And don’t get me started on the little bullets. Those things are literally everywhere! In the couch, on the ceiling, under every piece of furniture and in my jacket pockets. (My toddler can find one anywhere and it instantly goes in her mouth so I’m always trying to get to them before she does!)

Hanging Shoe Organizer
I will never be too good for a dollar store organization hack. This is cheap, easy and very functional! And the best part – there is no DIY building required. Which is my favorite part.
Peg Board for Nerf Wall Storage
I love this idea because they have it hidden behind the door. So if you don’t want it to be the centerpiece of your kids room then try this out.
Nerf Bullet Storage
Having an easy place for your kids to put the nerf darts *might* help them actually put them back where they belong.
LED Lights Behind Peg Board
Hanging LED lights behind the peg board gives a super fun look!
Laundry Pod Container
I did this for our nerf storage, but we used a Tide one so it was orange to match the nerf theme.
Hanging Buckets
Hang buckets off your peg board to store small nerfs and ammo.
Command Hooks
Use command hooks and zip ties to hang nerfs on a door or on the wall. This is a quick and easy solution.
Over The Door Shoe Organizer
This is a good option for some of the bigger nerfs as they won’t fit in the plastic shoe organizer.
Towel Rods
Hanging towel rods on the door and using shower curtain hangers makes for an easy way to store your nerfs
