No Carve Pumpkin Decorating for Kids

It’s that time of year again! Last year I had a one year old that was not at all interested in carving pumpkins with me or pulling the pumpkin guts out (wouldn’t you think they would love that?!) No.. He hated it! This year, I will have a back-up plan to do a no carve pumpkin just for him.

My babysitter bought this pumpkin decorating kit for the kids to use to decorate their pumpkins without making a huge mess. But, I’m not afraid of a little mess with my toddler.

So, here are some other ideas I have found for him to get his hands a little dirty.

No Carve Pumpkins for Kids - Super Hero

This idea is really cute and he would like it – except I am not near this artistic and he wouldn’t be able to participate as much as I would like. Maybe just the idea of painting the pumpkins would be fun,  with kids washable paint so he could do it himself!

This is super cute and I don’t need any “artist skills” to make it happen – he could also help with this one! Mickey is his favorite, too!

Glitter is always fun! I could see this turning into a mess – but I think we may try it anyways!

This is AWESOME! It looks like a lot of fun and I have plenty of crayons in this house. I will definitely be trying this one, I can only hope it doesn’t turn into a “Epic Pinterest Fail”.

Amazon has tons of cute pumpkin ideas here.
